Definitely better. It all boils down to how many schools you're willing to apply to (and still give 100% in all of your applications). If you're willing and able to apply to all four, by all means go for it! Certainly worth while! It's just that in our experience, applying to 4 schools in a particular round isn't for everyone - it takes a toll and quality typically suffers. Especially if you haven't started on any of the applications yet...plus retaking the GMAT. Just something to consider. Hope this helps and best of luck this season! Take a look at some of our free resources to get you started. Let us know if we can help.

Hey,

I took your advice and re-took GMAT. This time I secured 760 (Q50 V42). But, since R2 deadlines are very near I am planning to apply next year. Can you please provide some suggestions to strengthen my application?

I am targeting Haas, Anderson, Darden and Tuck.

Thanks again

Congrats on the improved score! I agree that at this stage, waiting another year will be good for you. What can you do in the meantime? Find as many meaningful work activities you can get involved in. Don't just participate - lead and make an impact! This goes for your involvement and extracurricular activities too. Rather then finding random groups/clubs to join, take a more impactful role in what you're already involved in. Also, have you visited any campuses yet? If not, go out there and network! Visiting schools, sitting in classes, introducing yourself to professors all make a difference and give you plenty of content to utilize for your essays. Best of luck over the next few months in getting your profile ready. Let us know if we can help!

Thanks for your reply. I am practicing Guitar for past few months and am planning on getting a degree from London College Of Music. I won't be able to pursue social services but I am also planning on learning one or two foreign languages.

Whats your opinion?

Thanks once again.
