Work Experience: Estate planning and tax attorney at a mid-sized law firm, previous work at an accounting firm as a tax attorney (roughly, 48 months of work experience). Currently, I supervise two paralegals and another attorney. I am the primary drafter on estate plans, and I work with three partners on their clients. I have developed a small book of clients in tax matters. In addition, I run a theatre reviewing site, after working for four years for an international entertainment site and supervising a team of six writers and expanding the brand from 25 reviews per year to over 100 reviews.
GMAT: 720 (Q44, V44)
Undergraduate: SUNY Geneseo (NY Public Honors College); B.A. English, Secondary Education, Theatre; 3.9 GPA, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Two-time Teaching Assistant for THEA 100. Co-editor and writer for a professor's extensive publication. Worked throughout college. Directed multiple plays (assistant directed mainstage production with professor). Served as Secretary for multiple student organizations.
Law School: Boston University School of Law; J.D. and Tax LL.M.; 3.38 (J.D.), 3.72 (Tax LL.M.). Research Assistant. Co-President of largest student organization. Treasurer for multiple student organizations. Extensive volunteer and pro bono work during law school. Won award for significant contributions to school of law. Published two legal articles.
Post-Law School Activities: Board Member for community theatre; and actor, reviewer, producer for local theatre (reviewed between 100-150 productions for the past two years). Board Member for other non-profits and bar associations.
