Hi aryan03012001

I don't want to sound discouraging, but I'm a straight shooter.

I think your profile is quite decent, but it might lack several aspects that hinder your chances of being selected by INSEAD and LBS.

Which doesn't mean that you shouldn't apply there... but I wouldn't like to raise your hopes too high for those schools. HEC is a good selection though

I would suggest considering other good schools where your chances may be very good; one such school is IESE.

Let me know if you need more persolanised suggestions

Hi Aryan,

Thanks for the detailed yet succinct profile summary. You have a lot of things going for you - congrats!

You target business schools (not colleges :upsidedown) are obviously fantastic institutions, and your profile on paper is a good fit, with one caveat. The core identity of INSEAD is internationalism, and that aspect is a slight weak point form what I can see in your profile so far.

Usually European schools require at least 3 years f/t experience which you'll certainly have, but that usually equates to 25 or 26 years old, but 24 isn't unheard of for strong applicants. So far you seem to demonstrate maturity and self-awareness. That will help. Clear goals vision will be essential for the typical shorter (10-16 months) Euroipean programs. For LBS, I assume you'r eloking for the 2-year, not the new 1)year, which requires a MiM or close equivalent.

As an American based in Europe for 17 years and Paris for nearly 15, these are the schools I know most closely. If you'd like to discuss further, please do connect: info@Candidate.Coach

All the best!
Eric Lucrezia

aryan03012001 - Your undergrad (BITS) pedigree and GPA are strong academic angles.

The GMAT score is fine, but could use some improvement for INSEAD/ LBS. Was this your first attempt? Was the score in line with your mocks/ expectations, and do you foresee an improvement if you were to retake?

Your work-ex is interesting given the Salesforce brand, promotion and customer-facing work. I'd like to understand more details e.g. key achievements, transferable skills (to your post-MBA goals), international exposure, etc. to assess better. It'd also be crucial to have a strong narrative covering your experiences, goals, and 'why MBA'.

Extracurriculars seem alright, but would need more details on the nature of your involvement, duration, etc.

Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out through the links below for a deeper chat.
