Can someone explain how can an applicant provide proof of work ex when they are cuurently working with the company? Will I need to submit an HR confirmation or experience certificate at the application stage?

Generally, the submission of your last salary slip suffices as that has all details.

Once you have received an admit, you may need to furnish further documents, as requested by the school.

Not sure if any such proof is required for current work experience. Some colleges might require uploading recent payslips which will serve as proof of current engagement.

I don't think any top international school asks for such a proof at the time of application. Usually they ask for this after you get an admit, and usually the salary slip or joining letter suffices for that.

Which school has asked you for this in the application stage? ISB?

Most business schools require proof of work experience at the application stage, even if you are currently employed. Here’s how you can provide it:
Commonly Accepted Documents
  1. HR Verification Letter

    • A letter from your employer (on company letterhead) confirming:

      • Your job title
      • Start date
      • Current employment status
      • Optional: Brief job responsibilities
    • This is the most reliable document and is often preferred by schools.
  2. Offer Letter + Salary Slips

    • If an HR letter is not available, many schools accept:

      • Your original offer letter (showing your joining date)
      • Recent salary slips (usually from the last 3-6 months)
      • Some schools may also request bank statements showing salary deposits.
  3. Employment Contracts or Promotion Letters (if applicable)

    • If your role has changed, you may submit promotion letters or contract renewals as supporting documents.
Final Work Experience Certificate
  • Most schools don’t require an experience certificate (issued after leaving the company) at the application stage.
