@anandin Can you highlight the steps for applying for student visa to Canada (in India). I have not given ielts yet, is it required for student visa or exempted if exempted by MBA school. If my wife wants to accompany, can she apply for work permit immediately or has to wait until I get student visa. Lastly, any advice for getting ready?
@sapling. Congrats. If you are from India you can apply for student VISA thru VFS. You need a medical test as well. I applied from Singapore , so applied online.
If you have a certificate from your UG university which says "Medium of Instruction" was english then you dont need ielts. I didnt give ielts. Your wife will get a open work permit if she accompanies you. She can work in Canada while you study , which is a best option. I think you need to apply together (best to check with VFS).
Advise on getting ready : definitely a lot
