Hi all,

How many of us have received interview invite yet? I had submitted on the last date 13th and don't have anything yet so a bit worried.

If you are from India and submitted towards the last days of round 2 and have received invite for the interview, please let us know.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am planning to apply to R3 for the 2014 intake (Mar 3rd deadline). I just wanted to check if applying in R3 is still an okay option? Is ROTMAN's admission process similar to the US schools, i.e. significantly lesser no: of seats available for grabs in R3 and later?

I am specifically asking this question as my GMAT is a terrible 640. I am in the most stereotyped industry and demography (IT, plus I am in the most competitive Indian applicant pool). The only factor which may possibly add some weight to my profile is that by the time class starts in Sep 2014 I would be having 6 yrs of work-ex, including 2 years of international experience. Not sure if my profile deserves a chance in R3. Any help or pointers would be extremely helpful. I am targeting the march 3rd deadline, and I am in real time crunch to get my application ready.

Thanks in advance.

1st of all Rotman accepts applications on a rolling basis, which mean Rotman evaluates apps as & when received. Deadlines are just for reference.

2nd, Sooner u apply better the chances are.

3rd, there r very good schools in Canada, u can try those - Schulich, Desautles, Sauder, Queens.

Yeah.. even I am a bit worried. I believe if the adcom is visiting India for interviews, then other applicants should get an interview invite by now (just my guess). Keeping my fingers crossed..

Since Rotman has a not so bad intake in terms of numbers , you have a chance in that respect
additionally depends on what you want to do at Rotman in terms of career goals. ( try to differentiate yourself from the crowd )
I would seriously recommend that you put up a great self appraisal in the optional essay.

I've gone back and forth with admissions multiple times. Sealed certificates/transcripts are only necessary if you are accepted (assuming you uploaded digital copies). They will require you to submit it as a condition of your admissions though. So if it will take a long time to get there send them now.

Hope that helps.

Just a quick question. I submitted my application on the 11th but my application just says "Submitted" on the application page (all supplemental material has been provided etc.). Does this change when they are reviewing it?

I don't know what the application statuses are and when they might be reviewing it.

I am an applicant from Canada :)
