I am applying as Canadian student, as part of application process we have to complete Video Essay.

I see some are mentioning about personal interview (phone or skype). Is the formal interview (personal or skype) part of the application process for Canadian applicants?

I guess it is. The personal interview is mandatory irrespective of the geography. Maybe you can check in the previous years' threads to verify this.

Hi Everyone
Is there anyone in the group who has deferred Sept-2017 Applications to be considered for January-18 Intake.
I was told to be interviewed again in August. Is there anyone waiting for the same and has anyone heard from the adcoms yet.

as I told before no offer letter threw me in round 2 pile sooo unprofessional attitude. Offer letters are generated 10 mins after interview I know that from alumni and imran was typing it as we spoke.

I don't think anyone has reported receipt of the offer letter yet. I think they have started the process and we shall all be notified in coming weeks.
I just wanted to know are there applicants who have earlier deferred their application and are in wait for interview call.

VG9028 - have you applied for January-2018 intake or moved from previous rounds?

as expected got rejection mail today seriously its 9 00 sunday morning in Canada. How in their right minds open their offices on sundays. LMAO. If I had to get 700 plus GMAT/GRE I would go to top USA school or even a top state school more job prospects than low quality Canadian education and high taxes and living without scholarships/minimal scholarships. ROI not good and no brand name of schools outside Canada. Wish I had never applied to these schools. overpriced

Saadim- I think Canadian Schools offer great prospects for International Students. With welcoming society and easy Visa processes Canada has always been a great study destination. I don't think GMAT score would have been the only criterion for non acceptance. Wish you luck for your applications.

VG9028- Please let us know whenever you get a response from admissions team.

Abhishek1511 yes agree that visa regulations are relaxed which is the biggest reason I applied in the first place. What shocked and disappoint me about these schools is that they dont care about personal profiles. Imran said to my face that my GRE is low nobody does this not even standford. Their average is not that high also so makes me wonder are the stats flawed or is it something else.
Anyhow congrats on your admit.

No you were only stating your opinion. Not getting interview calls should tell you that something is fishy with these schools. Mba is a huge investment of time and money. One man making all the decision is shocking and appaling in admissions. And york is.doing.nothing to get back in the rankings. Think.wisely about where you want to.end up.
Just to tell you that imran also made it clear that interview calls for round 1 are over already and all the rest applications have been thrown in round 2 piles. Website still states that international rounds are over so red flags for non canadian people

I deferred my admission for Fall 2017 due to unavoidable circumstances. Had to re-apply for Jan intake. Submitted my application yesterday.

Hi Everyone
Is there anyone in the group who has deferred Sept-2017 Applications to be considered for January-18 Intake.
I was told to be interviewed again in August. Is there anyone waiting for the same and has anyone heard from the adcoms yet.

I had an admit to Sep 2017 intake which I could not accept due to certain circumstances.
Re-applying for Jan 2018 intake now.

Any idea whats the class size for the Jan intake?
