Hello Veritas Prep! I want to apply to MBA next year (and actually start the MBA in 2017) .

GMAT score: 610 (Q47 V27)
Work experience: 13 years (Post Graduation- 7 yrs work experience)
Industry: Renewable Energy
I joined Indian Air Force at the age of 19 years as an Airmen. Simultaneously I pursued my studies through distance mode and completed my graduation and post graduation. I have participated in various rigorous military exercises and oversaw several electrical maintenance activities in Indian Air Force . After 11 years of service in Indian Air Force, I joined Food Corporation of India as a Manager in Dec 2014 and I am still continuing in the same profile looking after all General Management activities along with techno commercial bid analysis and floating tenders.
Education:
Master of Computer Application GPA- 2.8
Bachelor of Information Technology GPA- 2.8
Extracurricular activities:
• Member of the Youth Hostel Association of India (Trekking and Adventure Activities)
• Member Of Cycling Club

Thanks for sharing your profile. You are on the lower end with both your GMAT and GPA. Which is ok as long as you know you will not be able to target elite programs with this profile. So I would focus on programs in the area where you most want to work and focus your efforts on regional schools there
