Would request you to please evaluate my profile. Planning to apply for the R2 deadline in January 2019.

Nationality: Indian Male, Commerce graduate, Bachelor of Business Adminstration. Will be 32 years old at time of matriculaiton.

Undergrad percentage: 61% from University of Mumbai

Post graduate diploma in Management: 4.3/7

Gmat score: 700 (planning to retake the test by December '18 end)

Work experience total 7 years, will be 8 by matriculation: 2 years in KPO, 5 years in Banking operations. I started as management trainee and later was the Senior Analyst for Trade operations in corporate banking. After that I moved into commercial banking as a team leader and eventually became Assistant Manager managing a team of 8 for credit card payments, financial instruments clearing and doorstep banking activities. I've also been instrumental in the development of an online tracking system for banking deliverables to customers.

Extra curriculars: Organising and leading CSR and other corporate events at my workplaces. Have also volunteered at an NGO for mentoring underpriveleged children

Post MBA goals: Transition from banking to management consulting providing operational consulting for financial institutions.

National Institute of Technology, Warangal (6.6/10 CGPA)

GMAT: 730 (Q51 V38) AWA 6 IR 7

Work experience and leadership:
Total work experience : 4 years 2 months (as of December 2018).
1 year 7 months in Technology consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers
2 years 8 months as Software Engineer

Right now Co-leading a team of 22 with a team of 4.
Working as IT Retail Consultant for four different Clients ranging from hospitality to fashion industries.
My work compels me to act as a business analyst, functional, developer (when we are scarce of developers), technical support ( providing support for 3000 retail outlets through out India in Point of sales) for one of biggest fashion industries.
Techno functional for three other clients.

Community and others:
Volunteered for BHUMI for span of 1 month. For spreading awareness of education and jot down the statistics of four different slums in bangalore.

Post MBA goals:
Would like to work as a strategy consultant in Technology and Operations

Thanks for writing in.

The CGPA is fairly low and you must address the reason for the same in the essay which allows you to address the extenuating circumstances in your profile. The good news, however, is that your GMAT score should be able to compensate for the low GPA :-). The leadership experience, the experience of working with a renowned firm, and client-handling experience in diverse domains will further strengthen your case.

At this point, all we recommend is that you focus on putting forth a set of essays that adequately represent your strengths, as well as your motivation for MBA. Ensure that your short-term and long-term goals are in close sync with each other and join the dots in your story well.

University Of Pune with First Class,(we didnt had GPA)

GMAT: 650( planning to retake it by end of Jan, have asked admission committee the same so they told that I can retake the exam and mention the reason in optional essay)
Work Experience: Businesses Technology Associate at ZS Associates.(3yrs)
Leading a team of 5 in providing technical and consulting solutions to one biggest pharma giants in world.

Extracurricular: Boutique Startup, completed 10 projects for 5 clients.
Event management head for event with 5000+ footfalls.
Content Generator Video Designer for an international NGO for 1 yr.

Post MBA goals:
Would like to work as a Technical Consultant in Techno Consulting Firm.
