Cover Letter Please prepare a cover letter (up to 500 words) seeking a place in the MIT Sloan MBA program. Your letter should describe your accomplishments, address any extenuating circumstances that may apply to your application, and conform to standard business correspondence. Resume Please prepare a business resume that includes your employment history in reverse chronological order, with titles, dates, and whether you worked part-time or full-time. Your educational record should also be in reverse chronological order and should indicate dates of attendance and degree(s) earned. Other information appropriate to a business resume is welcomed and encouraged. The resume should not be more than one page in length (up to 50 lines). 3. Essays We are interested in learning more about how you work, think, and act. For each essay, please provide a brief overview of the situation followed by a detailed description of your response. Please limit the experiences you discuss to those which have occurred in the past three years. In each of the essays, please describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did. Essay 1: Please describe a time when you had to convince a person or a group of your idea. I tried using 10. But doesnt this leave you with almost one fourth of the page blank at the bottom (when you only have 50 lines)?

I didn't have that issue. But probably our spacing is a little different. Also, my resume is 52 lines.

I guess I'll be the only one to slightly lean the other way - I wish the Sloan app asked for a bit more detail in terms of extracurrics. Given that Sloan is heavily invested in how 'past performance predicts future success', I would have thought that they'd be the ones (if any) to ask for more info on extracurrics, hobbies, etc. But then again, the application is an exercise in distilling the most relevant info, so in a way it does make sense....

Hi Everyone. In addition to Mr. Garcia's address, do you also inlcude your own address/contact info in the cover letter?

If I submit in time and one of my rec providers submits late, is my app late? Anybody know?

Yes, I think you'll be considered for round 2 in that case.

i've heard technically there's a buffer of a couple hours just in case this does happen, but i wouldn't risk it

Answer received: They encourage us to get it in by deadline, but there's about a week of forgiveness (no formal drop dead date though). Called the admissions office.
