R2 Ding. Came by email as an "update to my status". The rejection letter actually states they've had over 4,600 applications for 350 slots this year.

US - Midwest.

This one bums me out.
same outcome here...

Hey, at least you have Haas! That is an amazing school. Who wanted to go to Sloan anyway? ;)

My best app by FAR as well. Spent a lot of time on the optional submission as well. So if the actual rejection letter states 350 slots this year, and if last year's class size was 403 then why would they drop admissions by 53? Does this have anything to do with people who had to defer in 2012 due to the high yield rate/not enough room?

I bet that extra 50 refers to LGO.

Sorry to hear about all the dings. The small class makes Sloan very selective. And good luck to all the people interviewing soon! If you haven't heard anything yet, please don't lose hope. Sloan does send invites out late in to the process.

Dinged today as well. Submitted right at the deadline and based in the Southeast US. Got the email right as I was walking in to my Columbia interview too! Damn Sloan trying to throw off my focus haha. Good luck to the rest of you.

Still waiting for an invite or rejection over here in East Asia. Anyone in this region from round 2 hear anything from MIT yet? Very anxious...

Good questions. Any international invites gone out yet? One would think it would be the other way around given the limited off-campus interview locations...

Yeesh... sorry to hear about all the dings everybody :( It's crazy competitive though, seeing those numbers.

I'm a LGO applicant applying from SE Asia, haven't heard anything either way yet...
