Enterprise, one of the US navy's largest battleships, deliver in a single blow such a stunning reversal to an enemy's fortune as during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942

Hope it helps

A,
Look at the things being compared, the battleship delivered the stunning reversal of fortunes, its voyage did not. Also there is no need of using had.

A. Correct
B. had is used when two events occur in the past and one occurs before the other but we donot know whether all other voyages occurred before or after the stunning one
C. did its famous voyage it means the voyage did something not Enterprise
D. we require during here because it happened during a particular course of time
E. same as C, it seems as if voyage did something not Enterprise

Please consider a kudos if this was helpful

The comparison marker is such X as Y.

The two elements of comparison are:

X = Enterprise did deliver a stunning reversal during no other deployment
Y = Enterprise did deliver a stunning reversal during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942

The complete sentence after combining the two elements using such... as.. construction and before omitting the repeated parts in the second element is:

Enterprise did deliver such a stunning reversal during no other deployment as Enterprise did deliver a stunning reversal during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942 .

Now rearranging "during no other deployment" and "did", the sentence becomes:
During no other deployment did Enterprise deliver such a stunning reversal as Enterprise did deliver a stunning reversal during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942 .

Now eliminating the repeated parts from the second element:
During no other deployment did Enterprise deliver such a stunning reversal as (Enterprise did deliver a stunning reversal) during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942 .

Thus we arrive at the option A.
