Hi There!

I'm applying for the MSc in Accounting for the 2021 intake : )

- My GMAT is rather low (620), hoped to do it again but time is sadly running out! Anyway, here is my profile:

Age: 22
Undergraduate: BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm university
GPA: 3.7/4
GMAT: 620
Experience: TA for the Finance section at Stockholm University, with a lot of academic insight and valuable references (SSE Ph.D.'s and assistant/associate professors)! I've also been working as a Service Advisor for a major Scandinavian bank for almost 3 years.
Other Merits: Teaching experience and academic interest (hope to pursue a Ph.D. if the chance arises!)

Hey guys,

Congrats to everyone that got accepted in the first intake!

Does anyone know how many that gets accepted in the first round? I did not get selected and I'm worried that most of the places are already full.

I applied to the programme in Economics and have a similar profile to user: Fanta, without the GMAT. Does anyone know how good the chances are of getting accepted without GMAT/GRE (swedish applicants)?

I think you have a very good profile! as far as i know the Accounting masters puts a heavy emphasis on grades and your cover letter so you are most likely a strong candidate

Think you have a solid GMAT and good work exp! Make sure your goals after your degree are clear and it should be okay :)

My assessment went pretty smoothly and I feel good about it. Since everyone is online it doesn't feel like much of an obstacle, but it probably is less of an opportunity to show your personality than in person. The assessors I interacted with were all very friendly and being switched between rooms for the various segments of the process was very well coordinated which really reduced the stress of it all. Altogether it was a really positive experience. Good luck! Hope to see you all in the fall!
