As a stat aficionado, I enjoy how that table shows how stats shouldn't be taken literally. 680-700 has a lower chance of getting in than the 3 ranges under it. Shows the importance of sample size and how there are other factors. Likely people in 680-700 just so happened to not have other parts of their application up to snuff. Though the difference is not really significant, so it could be random. I feel like I should write an AWA essay.

BTW, I'm a probability nerd, you'd have to tell me how you did that. I wonder if I'm missing something simple.

Am I the only one slowly losing his mind here? lol It's been tough the last 2 weeks but I've dealing with it, sometimes even thinking positive thoughts and getting psyched. Today, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, ugh. Tomorrow, I'll be checking my e-mail every 5 seconds. Anyone know if they'll notify us by e-mail or by phone?

Yeah, I went through this with Goizueta. No interview and a ding. As much of a slap in the face that can feel like (they didn't even want to spend 30 minutes to find out more about you) at least it's easier than what awaits a good number of people tomorrow who went through a tough interview, including preparation, and probably have their hopes up. At least you have time to prepare yourself. You'll probably get in to one of your other choices, keep your head up.

I agree!! they don't really care about a person & the effort that went in for an app. Rice did this to me after a very fruitful conversations with ad com members. & in the final days they didn't even respond to email & voicemail. Very rude. This process indeed is a learning experience. Hopes still alive. Owen reviewed my profile and interviewed me.. so it looks little positive, at least there r few schools that find my profile worthy enough of an interview. Had a positive feedback from interviewer at the end.

I can't speak about Rice, but I didn't think Goizueta for example did anything bad to me, they can't interview everyone. I just wish that if they're not going to interview you they would reject you before the deadline. I also loved everyone I met that's associated with Tepper, so I don't think they're being rude either.
