Hi,
Please help with the third question how to calculate majority of students as there may be all or no overlap.

Third question is regarding 'Majority of students', How do we extrapolate from there that 'Majority of schools also implies the majority of students? Shouldn't we know the total/avg number of students to know the requirement of any number qualifying as majority?

The question is a problematic one for the reasons mentioned below:-
1. The graph has not been amplified.
2. How would one know that AP in AP english stands for Advanced placement, and only those with AP mentioned are Advanced placement courses.
3. What describes a Foreign language here? How does one know which language will qualify as a foreign language in Dawn county. Even though we can still answer the question logically as no language has 100% school offering the classes.
4. There may be 10,000 students, and only the ones shown are getting themselves enrolled in maths, so it does not amount to even 10%.

So, best to leave this question aside and move to better questions in the forum.

For question 3, you need to know the total number of students in order to decide whether it is "the majority of students" or not.
