This is one of the best de-briefs I have read here. Hats-off to you for the dedication and commitment levels. What a comeback story!!
This debrief should be more popular than it is currently. I wonder why your story did not get the appreciation it deserves.

Immense respect from me!
Cheers to you.

Thank you for your kind words ARIEN3228. This journey has been more of a self discovery for me. Preparing for GMAT is more than just preparing for an entrance test and I hope people understand it sooner in their prep.

Wherever you are in your journey, I wish you good luck!

Hi katiaorse

Magoosh is a very nice material and the team is very sweet and helpful. But it is very very intensive. To just go through the material, it takes significant amount of time. So do it if you have time.
I would suggest to take their 1 week trial and see whether you like it.

A.

Hi LoneSurvivor,

I am planning to submit my apps to some schools in R2 this year.
Some of the programs are LBS, Cornell Tech, IESE & Judge.

One of the most enlightening and great debriefs.
Having been frustrated with my time management in GMAT test, i left reading debriefs. After dcummins's debrief i collected myself and stood. This one shall help reaching next level.

Thanks Alok for writing such an insightful debrief.

Hi Your review was inspiring for me and ever since that I have started private tutoring from mgmat over 10hours but my verbal score is same(22~28) and finally ended gmat test at 560. It really is frustrating. May I ask how did you maximize effect of your tutoring class? How was the style?
I am seriously worried what should I do. Any advice will be appreiated!

Hi milkybar,

If you're looking for advice about how you should continue with your studies, then you might consider starting your own post-thread. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you have (and I'm sure that plenty of others will offer advice as well). In that post, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
