OMG - I just got an invite!! I thought I would not get it after I visited Stern's marketing conf and talk to people and learned what kind of essays they wrote! Though my application essays were really weak in comparison, but just got an invite! I'm so excited! This is the first invite after being dinged at CBS and Wharton without an interview! Just for stats - I am white eastern european female, 28 years old, I've been working in accounting/fin analysis/audit at a lard manufacturing company for 4 years. Had two majors from the regular american state university (not ivy or anything like that). Hopefully my stat will give some hope to some of you who has similar stats. Carlos, I think that would depend on the quality of International applicants in R2. As it is, applicants from India were not gonna get an interview till March. It makes more sense for them to wait and pool the two sets of applications and then schedule interviews accordingly in March.

Depends from school to school. In this particular case it'd depend on what sort of candidates apply in R2, since Stern had a very different schedule last year,

Not necessarily. You can be waitlisted again after an interview.
