I think R2 applicants will start hearing about Interview invites in a few days. The Emory Admissions team must be busy with R1 decisions until now... and in a few days all sorts of communication regarding R1 decisions will go out. Once that's done, they'll focus on R2. That's my guess
Thank you! Can you share any advise for R3 applicants, such as me?

Really my best advice would be to accelerate the process if possible. Visit the school prior to your interview. Once you get the invite, schedule the earliest date. All I've heard from the staff is that R3 and RD4 are def' tougher because at that point seats are limited. Stay positive and be proactive.

Thanks friend! I am an international student so visiting campus wont be possible; however, I have connected with few current students to understand the program and life at Goizueta better.
Accepted in R1, no $$ though. Btw, is the welcome weekend mandatory? I am based in Asia for my work and I don't know if I will be able to go during that time.

From what I have heard, if you sit and wait, you may get a look in after the final round if seats are left. The other option is that you get in touch with adcom, students and professors, show your interest by being more pro-active and share few more pointers that will strengthen your cause. The second option will boost your chances of getting an admit.
