Applied to R3. Waiting for almost a month for alumni to reply for interview. what should i do guys? should i contact some other alumni or book a web interview slot?
Waiting for a month! It's just too much. If I was in your place, I'd have called the admissions office right after 10th working day.
Btw, did you at least call this person?

That's awful. You can't put your application in jeopardy because your mail got into some alumni's spam or got ignored. Contact the school immediately I say.

I was looking for details regarding core course waiver on KF's website, but there's absolutely no info. Does anyone have any clue about it?

I think they have a rigid curriculum but as per my understanding from a chat with a current student might be willing to waive off a core course requirement if you can provide substantial proof. For example the student who holds a CFA or CPA might not need to take financial accounting..

Thanks. It appears that KF's requirements are stricter than its peer schools.

Rumor from Chapel Hill is that applications for the first two rounds again increased substantially (20-30%) from the year before.

That has been the case almost everywhere. Ross reported 30%+ increase in both rounds. Sounds like a really tough season.

I am curious if the increase stems from domestic, international or both

So, I just received an email from UNC that said :-

Quote:
Dear ThePot:

Greetings from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler MBA Program.
Your application is currently incomplete. Please login at https://xxxxxxxxxxxx to review your list of missing items.

But when I logged in, it said - "Your application does not currently have missing items."

Weird. I mailed them as well regarding this, so let's wait for the reply.

Same thing happened with me also.
I went ahead and dropped in a mail to UNC, but they clarified that nothing is required from my end :)

Not sure whether I should read into that or anything, but i really want to. I got a mail from deepa nair last night asking for pdf copy of my diploma. If they are sorting my papers after 10 days of interview, may be, just may be there is a positive chance? lol. I should stop projecting and prepare for the worst.

I would say do not over-think it.
I also received these mails twice for something or the other.

In the end. Wait list was all I could manage :(

So just forget about it and wait for the result day.
All the best! :)

Hey gang, when I go to my admitted webpage I see all the links.. "announcements, Admitted Student Guide, ASW, etc". But when I click on them, I don't see anything happen. Is anybody else having this problem?

I had my interview with Amanda Harding last week. Quite relaxed and easy going. The questions were the same as other members have commented already.

Good feeling with this one :D

Good luck to all the other applicants
