Hi All -

I may be a little late to the punch on this, but is it appropriate to ask the scholarship committee to reconsider your scholarship status? I received a scholarship offer for approx. $15k/year (for which I am extremely greatful), but I am beginning to feel like that would need to be significantly higher for me to decide on KF, based on offers from other schools. Thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Looking at current year and prior year stats from gmatclub, I noticed there is a significant drop in UNC's acceptance rate. EA rate went from 44% down to 17% and R2 went from 36% to 20% (admittedly some may yet to update their status in R2). Did anyone else notice this? When my interviewer called me, she said it was an extremely competitive year. I wonder if UNC's acceptance rate will drop below 30% this year. Anyone has any thought?

Although, you may try it, Darden and Duke are almost peers to KFBS so 15$k/year is a good scholarship to bridge so small gap between almost peer schools.
If you were accepted to H/S/W and KF, well, yes you could have asked, otherwise, I would not.

So I found out I am on the wait list which was not the goal. I noticed some people wrote they contacted admission and got direct feedback on "weak spots" such as GPA or GMAT. If that is the case I would like to know a little bit more about how one goes about that... is it as simple as calling admissions or sending out an email? I was on the wait list at Fuqua and sent an email to the Wait List Counselor and that felt like a total black box.

In, with no $. The 'fellowship decision' page says that there is a chance additional funds may be available (or something to that effect). Does anyone know what the timeframe would look like on that?

Same here. Accepted Indian applicant with no $. How long do we have to make a decision? I cannot make a decision until I get a final confirmation about the fellowship.

I think R2 admitted candidates have till April 15th to make a decision. That's the deadline for making the deposit. Hopefully confirmation on fellowship amounts should be out much before that date.

got admitted but without $. To all the Indian folks - according to you, which business school in India is at par with KF? which Indian schools, if any, do you think are better than KF?
