It is common to refer to an author's work by the name of the author. 
"in Aristotle" is acceptable in place of "in Aristotle's work" in regular English. GMAT might be more particular and actually give you "in Aristotle's work" but we can't be sure.

You should get a clue from the fact that 4 of the 5 options use "in Aristotle" and hence it probably isn't a decision point. The 5th option is incorrect and hence, you should not worry about this.

one doubt here, Aristotle was a person not a work. "In Aristotle" used in B,C,D and E is wrong as in the non-underlined part we are using Aristotle's Philosophy. "By Aristotle" would be correct. 
Option A to me seems fine compared with other options.

Just as a clarification, "resonated with" is active while E has a passive voice ("deep resonance"). GMAT prefers active voices whenever possible.

Choice(C) has the participle "resonating," that the first half, which should be a full   +   clause, is simply a noun + a noun modifier, so this is grammatically incorrect.
