Invited today! :) Submitted 11/15.

I was invited to the Spotlight on Stern Women interview day (Feb 4th) - anyone else going to that or have any info on how many attended last year? Just wondering because I'd prefer to interview in mid-Jan when I'm already in NY, but also don't want to be ungrateful and decline the event invite...

Did my interview this morning and it went as expected. The interviewer was very friendly and it was a pleasant conversation. I was a bit nervous, so was talking very fast. I wish I had taken a step back, organized my thoughts a little better, and talked slower.

All the questions I got were in the MBA Data Guru list, so make sure to prepare for those.

Do you know what the turnaround time from interview to decision is?

The interviewer told me two weeks, but since two weeks from today falls on their holiday recess, i might only hear back in the first week of January.

We have no idea if Stern is planning to release any post-interview decisions before closing up for winter break, right? The best intel we have is that decisions are made 2-3 weeks after the interview?

I was also told that it would take 2-3 weeks from the interview, which in my case would fall during winter break, so most likely I would only hear back in january.

But i think some people interviewed even before the Thanksgiving break, so I'm kind of surprised that no one has reported that they have been accepted at this point.

Those who got interview invite- Congrats :) Btw, did you submit any video for personal expression essay? If yes, how many times and when was it viewed by admissions office would you know?

Really holding out for Stern to give some sort of decision before Dec 18! I go on vacation for 2 weeks with no cell service and will be dying of anticipation.

Do we know if they call or strictly email people?

Its by email. They call a couple of days after the email.

The real question is if there will be any admits before Christmas.
I interviewed on the 2nd of December and I wonder whether I will hear back before Christmas.

It would be good news if so, but the one thing I've learned during MBA recruiting so far is not to trust Livewire! The person who posted there also claims to have submitted in R2, so it seems fishy.

I saw the R2 and thought the same thing. I wonder if it was part-time admit. I have a friend that was admitted for the part-time program almost a month ago, so I assume they are much faster with those applications.
