Hi Sarang,
Thanks for your help. I just had one question.
Does FCOB need my official transcripts to be mailed or just the scanned copies for review purpose?
I had requested ETS tos end my TOEFL score to FCOB and they confirmed the same on 19th June. But FCOB is not in receipt of my TOEFL scores. Will that delay my admission review? I have sent the unoffocial scores.

Hey,

Thanks for your question. You can upload an unofficial copy of your transcript with your application. The unofficial transcript must be a scanned copy of the official transcript (sent directly from the school). You should also upload the grading scale (if you have one attached to your transcript). We will use the unofficial transcript for review purposes only. If you are offered admission, you will need to submit an official transcript.

Regarding your TOEFL score, I would probably reach out to ETS to verify the same again. If I remember correctly, it took ETS about ten days to send my score last year. Since the first round deadline is still a month away, I wouldn't worry about a delay in admission review. Please send a mail to [[email protected]] informing them about the delay.

Just one more thing. Can u tell me about the job prospects for an indian student in supply chain at Fisher College of Business. I have heard it is pretty hard to find a job being in international student? What's ur take on this?

I can give you my perspective on this. My classes started about 3 weeks back and we have already had multiple career fairs, company information sessions, consulting workshops (conducted by alums), mock interview sessions, personal career counselling etc. The Fisher career management team has extensive experience working with International students, so I feel I am in good hands.

As you asked for SCM, you might be knowing that Fisher is one of the best schools in the US for Supply Chain Management. Also, Columbus is a major hub for the Supply Chain and Logistics industry. If you would like to know more, I could connect you with a few of the second year Indian students who have just completed their internships within Supply Chain Management function. Just called the admissions office about fall preview weekend (oct 23 and 24) invites. They still have no clue when theyre going to release the list of candidates. Looks like they dont care about students who have to fly in. Less than two weeks and absolutely ridiculous. People who can drive in probably dont care, but oh well.. certainly bad PR.

I do not see any problem there using personal email id. I used it in my application.
But if you still want to be sure, you can mail and ask them.

We’re so sorry to hear that you didn’t receive a response more quickly. This must have been an isolated incident, as we tried to get back to candidates within about a week or two of their request. Our apologies for the delayed response.

Can the recommenders submit the LOR after the application deadline, both of my recommenders wont be able to submit the LORs before the deadline.
