R2 candidate here.

Just received my admit call :) Still not 100% sure whether this is true.

I did ask for an early decision because I've some $$$ waiting at another school but I had some issues contacting my 2nd interviewer and eventually had to get a replacement. I've only done the 2nd interview last Friday and the school would've only received the interview report this week so I wasn't expecting a call today but nevertheless, it came through.

Will be starting in Singapore!

Congrats Mitwg! You are the first one here to get the admit from R2.

Congrats Mitwg! You are the first one here to get the admit from R2.

Thank you!

My first interview didn't go as I planned as I usually walk into interviews with the utmost confidence where I think I will be able to "win over" people with the way I convey my viewpoints but to my surprise, the guy was colder than I ever imagined. The interview only went for around 10 minutes as he was too busy doing his own things.

So I wasn't entirely confident on whether I received a positive interview report for the first interview (despite the alumni telling me "well done" afterwards) but nevertheless, it must have turned out okay after all.

Good luck to everyone else waiting for results out there, and keep your hopes up!

@Narenn do you think it would be safe to assume that the following admission rates are not due to the GMAT being over 740, but that potentially applicants with GMAT scores in that range might be lacking in well-roundedness community extracurriculars at cetera?

Good luck to R2 applicants. The wait is a killer. I can't let go of my phone.

R1 applicants, can any of you please post the number of accepted applicants from Canada, US and India?

So far a total of 194 are in the system.
big numbers are coming from:

American: 20
Australian: 8
Brasilian: 9
British: 5
Canadian: 13
Chinese (incl. PRC and ROC): 15
French: 11
German: 10
Indian: 31
Indonesia: 4
Italy: 4
Japanese/Korean: 5
Lebanese: 13
Pakistani: 5
Russian: 5
Romanian: 3
Singaporean: 6
South African: 6
Spanish: 8

Note, each person could have more than 1 nationalities. Each student may be counted multiple times.
Of course, numbers are going to change in the next few days after R2 results are out.

So these numbers are the one that have been accepted or the ones that have enrolled?

Looks like the ones that been accepted.

Cause with 512 odd seats and INSEADs statement on each intake being equally competitive and the Deans last year statement stating the yield rate of INSEAD is 65%.

194 would yield to 126. 126 into 4 rounds=504. which is somewhat in the ball park figure of 512.

Could be wrong.

Could anyone confirm this?

I think the 192 might be those who got admitted.

If 65% is the yield for both Jan and July intakes, based on my understandng, the yield rate for the Jan intake is normally higher, since the July intake would be competing with other US b-schools. So I would say the yield of Jan intake would be somewhere around 75% to 80%. (just a wild guess)

While we have no idea of the percentage of those who hold dual citizenship, a 2005 INSEAD MBA alumnus blog (you can google it) once said it was around 20% so let's assume that number hasn't changed.

Ergo, 194 who got admitted, of those 20% hold dual citizenships so that would leave us to 155. If 80% of them accepted the offer, then that would give us 124.

So how the system shows it. 194 is the total number on the 17d batch.

Nationality has no effect on this number.

Hello to all R3 applicants.

Who all have applied for Round 3 and any correspondence from INSEAD so far? I hope we would also like to know the latest date by which we can expect our interview calls. I request R1 and R2 applicants to guide us on this.

Cheers :-D

I think R2 applicants have their own problems to deal with right now. Like waiting endlessly. JK

So you will get an email from the AO letting you know your file is complete, after which there will be a blackout in communication till you receive an invite or ding.

Not much for you to do right now other than wait and pray (a lot of that, i was a non-believer till this application happened..)

Good luck to you mate..
