Hello sachinnarula

The profile is quite decent- diverse work experience will help a lot.
Combined with your GMAT score, shows no evident weakness for IIMs especially.
Career goals seems organic too.
As long as you present your past (experience), present (why you feel the need of an MBA now) and future (short term and long term post MBA goals) well, you have a decent shot.

Best

Hello Abhisek1m

While the IR experience will give you brownie points on diversity, schools will be interested to know why do you want to make a jump 1 year into it and not wait for some more time having gained more ex.
Other than that, the expected GMAT score it key to figuring out where you stand, have you taken any mock tests to estimate a target score?
Moving on to career goals, will need to be more specific than that. Career jump into what? What sort of roles/companies are you targeting and also talk about your motivation to target said roles/companies.

You may want to read here on what factors work in a profile and here to add to your research on career goals.

Hi Siva,

Your profile is strong and making a move from sales and service to MBA is a good move. Your GMAT score is quite low. I have seen applicants get in with 640+ scores into IIMs A, B, and C. Last year someone got into IIM B at 630 GMAT score.
However, a lot will depend on how you compensate for your low GMAT score; is your profile very diverse, is there something that can help you set yourself apart? Think through these points before you apply.

Regards,
Tridisha

Hey Siva

In addition to what has already been said about the GMAT, you need to work on your post MBA goal. Currently it is a very high level statement. You GMAT will decide if you get an interview call, however the sop will have huge impact on the direction the interview will take.

Hope this helps

All the best!

Arpit,

Hi Sivakumar01,

Thanks for sharing your profile.
Since you have 11 yeas of experience with a GMAT score is 620 and you want to transition into supply chain management roles, then IIMU SCM one year MBA will be the best place for you. You can also target IIML, IIMI and IIMK.

These colleges provide good placements and if you don't want to spend more time on GMAT improvement, then you should start preparing for these colleges.

Hope it helped.

No evident weakness in your profile, looks good to go and apply.
You have enough meat in your profile to stand out even in the competitive pool of IT applicants.
Judging by the quality of your post, looks you have given decent thought to your goals as well.
All the best.
