Hey guys! I've been "stalking" this thread since I started applying, and it's finally my first time posting here. Living in Boston now, and can't wait to meet all of you on campus hopefully! I had all my interviews on Tuesday, and already freaking out now!! Can't wait till Thanksgiving to find out.... I'll probably be looking at my phone all the time in the morning by that time...

A fellow American! We'll be one of the few minorities so I hope as many of us can get in. Aside from the valley and NYC, the US network needs all the members it can get.
My interviewer was surprised I even applied. Although they approved me, they were wondering if I wasn't better suited for a US school (one even thought I should skip b-school). I think for us, the value proposition is different. I'm there for the life experience! 2 weeks of waiting is killer....

I hear you!! This waiting is killing me. I can really feel the anxiety so bad... Now we have to keep ourselves calm, maybe think about if we don't receive the offer what we should do? So the expectation is not that high, and we can be surprised when we receive the offer!!

Tangyj, if I don't get in, I will start the process all over again and the idea of going through essays again and getting to know the other schools makes me even more anxious :lol:

Thanks Icecream! I don't really know! There's still plenty of time to think about it, I'll cross that bridge when it comes. For now, I'm just focusing on the INSEAD essays which to be honest can be pretty exhaustive! Goes without saying that INSEAD is my number 1 choice and it is my dream school.

I feel you, good luck with those!! But arent you supposed to be paying acceptance fees to the other schools by now?

I have paid the deposit fees for one school which I've kept as a safety. The others I'm just going to try to buy time for as long as possible and will figure it out then . I understand I might lose the deposit but I don't have much of a choice here. I kinda wish I applied to INSEAD first now but I was advised to never apply to your dream school first because it takes a couple of applications before you can really get those juices going. Is INSEAD your first application?

hi everybody,
a friend of mine who is currently at INSEAD told me they just had a presentation from the dean, saying that applications are 60% more this year than previous years !! the selection is going to be very tough !
This was a kindly message for you to panic even more !!! :-)
