In option D, what does 'her' refer to? It should ideally refer to Ayn Rand, but in the answer choice we have 'Ayn Rand's Philosophy'.

In option D, what does 'her' refer to? It should ideally refer to Ayn Rand, but in the answer choice we have 'Ayn Rand's Philosophy'.
There is some debate regarding whether a personal pronoun such as "her" should refer back to a noun in the possessive form such as "Ayn Rand's," and the GMAT has come down on the side of the debate that says such references are OK by using such references in correct answers, such as the correct answer to the following question.
