After all the headaches, glitches, outages, bugs, downgrades and other various hiccups associated with the transition to an online-only version of GMAT Prep, I'm currently recommending that my students strongly consider using the
old GMATPrep software for desktop if possible, as an alternative means of accessing the exact same content. Yes, the sections are a little bit longer, but at least the tests work!
Not to say "I told you so" to the GMAC, but
I predicted that there would be many issues with the transition from desktop to online software.
The lesson here: The GMAC should have updated the desktop software, too.
