ISB prefers candidates with 3 to 5 yrs of work ex. If you look at batch stats in recent years, no. of students with more than 8 yrs of work ex. has dropped down drastically.
I had very discouraging discussions with few alums and profs with regards to placements and job opportunities.
I suggest you to check IIM full time executive programs, which, I feel, would suit you better than ISB.

ISB is one of the options, but it depends on post-MBA goals. But ISB students average experience is declining in recent years. Apart from ISB, check the IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C one year diploma programmes which require a minimum of 5 years experience.

- A career switch with 9+ years of experience may not be easy to accomplish, at ISB or at any other B-school. If you are looking for career growth, the MBA can help. - In case you make it to ISB, it will certainly be worth the time and money. This article will shed more light. - There are also choices apart from ISB you could look at. IIMA/B/C, XLRI are some examples.

We would advise you to look for a 1 Year exec program at IIMs or an MBA in the US/Europe for a better return and for a more apportioned career opportunities (w.r.t your work experience).
