Hey guys! Realized that there wasn't a thread for the 2021 intake for the full-time Ivey MBA program. Submitted my application on the 5th of January 2020. R1 Deadline was Jan 6th. Sharing future deadlines for the others: Application Round Deadline Round 1 January 6, 2020 Round 2 April 6, 2020 Round 3 July 13, 2020 Round 4* September 21, 2020 Round 5 November 9, 2020 Round 6 January 4, 2021 Sharing my feedback on the application process: Video Essay - Pretty straightforward. You have unlimited attempts at the practice questions. You get 2 questions randomly out of a pool of about 150 questions. My questions were - "What is the one thing about yourself that you haven't shared with us in the application" and "What would you do if a team member stopped responding to your calls? How would you respond to that?" The written essays seemed simple but it is a challenge to crisp this out to 250 words. You'll really know how little 250 words is, when you're writing this. If you've done your schooling and under graduation in English - PLEASE WRITE THE ELPT NOTE. I've seen many folks writing IELTS Academic/TOEFL for this. You don't have to if you can convince them that English has been your mode of communication during both academia and professional journies. Would love to hear about interview invites/dates etc from the others applying for this intake.

That's correct, although he mentioned that it would be "with social distance", so I assume that no all of the students will be coming back at the same time, it might be phased comeback.

No, Ivey has not announced full online officially yet (Way too soon, honestly). And AFAIK, the interviews are all online now. Hope that clarifies things.

All online is what I hear. Where are you based out of though? Only folks around in Canada do have an option of doing this in person, but why would you take the chance during these times? Online is seamless and a very breezy experience. Wouldn't worry too much about that if I were you.

Actually, the current cohort is going back to in-person classes starting August 10th.
JD mentioned that in the info-session yesterday.

Generally email for scheduling the interview is received within a week of the invite.

Apart from the podcasts (Will suggest that you listen to this in detail and prepare on each aspect), you can refer to the interview debriefs posted in this forum for some advice.

I submitted my application in an earlier round and there was only one scholarship essay. Ivey states that they have scholarships for each application round, so don't give much thought to it.

Hey all, got my interview invite. 5 weeks away, September 14th. They must be quite stacked with applicants! Anyone know how many more applicants they've gotten compared to previous years? Pretty nervous just with the influx of interest.

Though I am sure no one would know of a number but in one of my communication with the school, they mentioned that their decision timelines are now much longer due to the increase in the number of applications. Just comparing previous Ivey threads on GMAT club, it is evident that this year has a lot more interest than before.

Congrats Russthemann on the invite.

You could utilise the time uptill sept to prepare for interview and go through debriefs. That way you can give your best shot in the interview.

Also you might have already thought of this, but just suggesting that you can research on other top programs in Canada in case you want to keep a backup.

Submitted my application on Monday of last week? Got an invite for interview on Thursday, then got sent the dates yesterday.

I was in good contact with my AdCom representative just over a couple things like profile review etc.

Yeah I did. Just missed round 3 by a couple days, but Ivey mentioned since they have rolling applications there's a similar amount of spots per round.

Hey Guys!

I am thrilled to inform that I have received an offer from Ivey for the 2021-2022 MBA program. I applied on July 13th (Round 3 Deadline). Got an Interview Invite on July 14th or 15th (can't remember) and had my interview on August 5th.

Overall the application and interview process was extremely streamlined. Ivey could not have been more helpful with any questions I had for them during this process.
