Nice, quick turnaround then. Quick question for you - any idea why you were dinged for Ivey? Or does the (D) stand for deferred? And since you were admitted to Desautels, was that for last year, since 2021 intake only opened up today?

Russthemann

(D) in red color means denied or dinged. We are working on a "deferred admit" status which is not ready yet.

Ahh that makes a lot more sense, I was pretty confused there. Thanks

Thanks! Was looking at HEC and IESE as well, but with Covid uncertainty I think I’ll be sticking closer to home, with how France and Spain are handling things. Also applied to Ivey, told them I got into Rotman so they’ll be getting back to me on Friday to let me know if I get in or not.

Hi folks,
Hoping you are doing well.
I am applying to Rotman this year and by the looks of it, I might miss the R1 deadline which is on 5th October, but will be able to submit my application by 10th October. Rotman has written on its website that they follow a rolling application thing, so will my application be considered in R1 or will I get reply by December if I apply on 10th October?
Any insights on this would be really helpful as I need to plan things accordingly and will push if my application will be considered in R1 or around that even if I apply five days late, given that they follow a rolling application system

It is too soon to say you'll miss a deadline that is indeed 15 days+ away.
If you need help you can sign up with me.

If you would like to learn more about our Master of Finance for working professionals program, sign up for a 1-to-1 chat speak with Catherine Millar-Burt, Assistant Director, Master of Finance, Recruitment and Admissions.

Wondering how much weight the Timed Written Response portion has. Couldn't complete with the closing salutations in the given email scenario. Rest was fine I think.
Anybody got an admit even after having a bit of trouble with their video essays and TWRs?
Rotman is kind of my target school and I'm a tad bit agitated after what happened with the TWR.
Any comments, anyone?

Rotman has been your dream since 2012?

That is shocking but I attended a webinar once before from some school where they encouraged to speak more than that and that they'd rather have you cut off than speak less. They wanted to judge the way you talk.
