Just got the Interview call.

GMAT 650 (Q48 V31)

7.5 Years total work Ex.

1 Year in the US.

6 Years as a strategy consultant with EY in India working with global clients

Had recommendations from ex manager at EY and a major German automotive OEM client.

Now a Hydroponic Farmer in Punjab

Played National level Junior Golf, ranked 2 in the country in 2006.

Undergraduate from Arkansas State University with a double major in Business Administration and Marketing Management.

Got done with the interview yesterday, it went well I feel, except for 1 question below. It was taken by an Associate Fellow from the Admissions committee who is also a part of the career and development team. He said he was an expert in banking and finance and he had clearly gone through my application in detail. He was really friendly and cheerful. He mostly did not ask any questions already asked in the application or KIRA earlier except:
1. Why MBA
2. Why Oxford?
3. Which other colleges have I applied to and why?

The question he asked me almost three times was Why now? He was clearly not convinced with my answer. Not sure if he was satisfied with my final answer, we moved on to the next questions.

He asked me two competency based questions:
1. Did you have a difficult stakeholder that was not ready to give into the solution you provided?
2. How did you explain to your team the impact of the work that they are doing?

He kept asking related smaller questions and for more details within these questions.

Quiet indeed! I usually do quite well in interviews but I don't know why I was really nervous for this one and blanked a couple times, I'm not sure how it went (guess we never can know really) , but I'm remaining hopeful. I've been attending these virtual Q&A sessions they are only elevating my excitement 😂 but we'll see, only a couple more days to go! Good luck everyone! 😊

Honestly, I don't think we should try to analyse. Sometimes we think we smash an interview, sometimes we mess up, but those are the places we get the offers from.
It was the same format for me, I was answering questions from the interviewer with some time for my questions at the end. Some questions caught me off guard which made me blank a bit, but I feel as though I followed up with good answers.
But, we'll see.

And these online zoom Q&A sessions have only been hyping me up even more with excitement!!
We've only got one more day till decisions!!!
