nightblade354, Your support is highly appreciated

This is my 2nd year applying. Hope to get in this time. Frustration levels are extremely high:(

General question- can you reapply a 3rd time after being denied twice?

was positive with Darden application

Me too. Trying to decide whether to sit out the rest of this cycle and apply next year, apply to other schools in R2, or maybe just not pursue an MBA at all.

I’m approaching the wrong side of 30 so maybe too old for this as well. Can you get accepted if you’ll be over 30 years old at matriculation?

Same here. No admits in place and I’m already 29 or as people say, on the wrong side of the applicant pool for a lot of US b schools. If I don’t crack one this year, next year will be even more difficult given I’ll be matriculation at the age of 31 (almost)

Congrats! Did you take any particular steps to “overcome” your age? I’m leaning toward waiting to apply until next year at which point I’ll be 31 as well.

Waitlisted. Do waitlists convert?
Wondering if waitlisted folks had selected binding option.

Do you know of any schools that are friendly to older applicants?

One of my friends is 32 and she got into Wharton this year with a GMAT of 720. But she had an exceptional profile too with a very strong exp in diversity and inclusion

That gives me hope! But my profile is less than stellar so maybe I should try to improve before reapplying.
