Before I started the exam, I forgot my safety question. I spent some time remembering it. Fortunately, I answered it. And after the exam, my examiner did not ask me to show him the whiteboard for inspection. I tried to contact the examiner, but he did not give me any answer. But in the end I showed my whiteboard to the camera. As a result, the day after the exam ended, I received an email that my GMAT online is flagged administrative review.

If you did not receive a response from the examiner, then its a problem from their side. Moreover, if you did everything correctly, then you should not worry about the review. But, it may take some time for you to get the official results though. Good luck!

Hi Mike333, I completely understand how this is probably a frustrating situation for you. While you've described two minor abnormalities with your Exam, we have to be careful about assuming that either of those details has anything to do with why your Exam was flagged for review. It's also worth noting that since we're in the middle of 'GMAT season', it might be days (or even weeks) before you hear back about this issue. Since you have no control over the outcome, the logical next 'steps' would be to plan to check-in once a week to see if the situation has been resolved and keep a light study/review routine (to keep your skills sharp in the event that you have to retest). They'll investigate the exam record. If nothing is abnormal, they'll send you the official score. Don't worry.

Hi Mike333, Based on what you have described, I don't think you have anything to worry about. However, as has been said, perhaps something else occurred during your exam that you're unaware of. In any case, you could try calling the folks at GMAC to see if they'd be able to give you any more information. If you cannot reach anyone who can help, then you just need to sit tight until GMAC comes back to you with a decision.

I also received this notice today and had a problem with my security question. And I can pretty much swear that I know my mom's maiden name... Hope news comes soon and that the flag is in my favor.

Hey Chicapepi Did you get your official score? I also received the same notice that my test has been flagged for review. Proctor did ask me to fix my camera during the exam but did not give any other warning. Called GMAC the next day to make sure that was all there was to it and they sent me my official score that same afternoon. I was surprised by the awesome customer service (ask for Tonya). Try it out, just be nice and inquire humbly. Posted from my mobile device

I am in the same situation, they notified me this morning that my exam has been flagged for administrative review. My network logged me off during the verbal section, could it be the reason for the administrative review? Did your official scores change after the review? I am asking that bc I plan to retake the exam bc my verbal score (the very section that I was logged off) was low, but I'm not sure if they will change the score + idk if I'm allowed to reschedule the exam during the review period.
