I would say it depends on what you’re mor comfortable with. If you feel you’d perform better on virtual compared to in-person (or vice versa) there is some advantage in doing what you’re more comfortable in. From the Adcom’s perspective there is not difference - because it would create unfair advantages for people who have applied from nearby.

I partially agree with that... for my Luck i will have a B trip in US and Will do Mine f2f. I Will watch some open classes there and Will try to comments that in my Interview to show my interest.. dont directly affects but It can help somehow If you can Go.
