There is this https://gmatclub.com/chat group I am a part of. I was interviewed on 14th Jan. i could barely see 1 or 2 candidates being selected out of those being interviewed between 13-15 Jan

There is no clear bifurcation, as the selection process banks on which parameters. How much % is allocated to Gmat score. What ur profile % is. And what % is given to interview

Same story wid me as well....

There no such fixed crieteria..

I mean how can they give admissions in just 10 days, if they say every round is equal so in just 5 days they calculated all the scores, the composite one and all the academics, work ex etc. everything? How many candidates got selected in this round. They say they select candidates holistically, people with low scores gets rejected. People with high score, myself included 695 Gmat Fe score, Test centre, rejected, 7 yrs of work ex, qstns were only about work ex. And rejection. That ldy and those two men were just casual and just wanted to finish off the interviews as fast as possible. Even 20 mints was not full utilized , took interview in 10 mints and wrapped up

Don't worry you will do great. 695 is a good score (I have also score in the same range). Indian MBA colleges are judgemental to the core and in the name of holistic process evaluation they succumb to subjectiveness. I gave SDA Bocconi interview (3rd rank in financial times ) and the interviewer lady herself said that you have a great GMAT score while when I gave IIM Calcutta interview and mentioned that I have a 100 percentile on Quant section, ego of the professor got triggered (maybe I touched a nerve there lol 😂😂)

Also the same things is reflected in the jobs of alumni which they are doing after passing out from these top Indian MBA colleges (not placement reports because the best audited placement report is that of Master's Union if these reports have to be believed).

I was going through linkedin to look for alums who have done the GMP course, none of them seem to be in MBB, literally 0 people. How good/bad is this course really? The current students are also not giving a clear picture, please help!

I don't think there will be any ge or test other than interview. Got into PGDM GM as well through gre, only gave an interview.

No, my interview was very short, slot was booked for 30 mins but the interview barely lasted 15 mins. Perhaps this due to difference of XAT and GRE? Maybe a little GE prep will end up being useful after all in the off chance it happens.

Has anyone who applied through GMAT/GRE, recently heard back on their PGDM (GM) final decision? XLRI’s team hasn't responded to my query regarding this and I was interviewed in December. Is there a chance that I might be selected at a later point or should I stop expecting a seat?
