I received the Said foundation scholarship one day after the admission results

Thats great . May I know if you had to apply separately for that ? Also if you could let us know how much they offer , it would be great .

R3 applicant. Had my zoom interview today

Questions:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Why MBA?
3. Plans post MBA
4. Biggest accomplishment
5. How have you solved a conflict in a multicultural environment
6. How will use the MBA time to develop specific skills for your career choice
7. What hobbies will you pursue at Oxford
While one of my mentees (finance background) had a similar interview experience, with an emphasis on situational and leadership responses, another mentee (social impact) had a very different focus in her interview, which included employability, career goals, research, and potential recruiters she had already connected with. Her interview was even conducted by someone from the career center team, which I found quite unique. Both mentees received offers in previous round. For future candidates, I suggest you identify potential areas of concern in your profile and be extra prepared to answer questions along those lines. Said interviewers are very thorough in gauging what they intend to assess during the interview discussion. Regards, Aanchal Sahni

Very true. I come from government organisation and I was asked a question on entrepreneurship. However, I was able to draw parlance with my projects and answer it

No, actually .
Probably the interviewer , wanted to gauge my interest in the broader aspects of business concepts beyond Operations, which I had primarily pitched for in my application .

Hi! May I know how do you know that your english waiver is accepted? is the notification before you had the interview?

By accepted I mean, the adcom never reached out to me asking for the details. If there is any concern they will definitely contact you.

Quick Question - how much time do you get between interview decision and actual interview?

What is the process - do you get to choose date and time?

I got an invite for the interview and have to pick a slot with latest being on 6th December. I have been given a time window of mid night of 20th to make the choice. I have the option to pick only online slots as no in-person interviews are being conducted in India.

Hey @ashmit99 ,

So, usually you get approximately 48 hours to book your interview slot post the invite and applicants get to choose the date and time of interview based on the available slots (online vs offline choices are on certain dates). Good luck!

Also it’s about 3-4 days between the closest available slots...
