I would say Tuck easily, but that's bc I'm in love with the program and campus. However, since you're also considering education and given Yale's pedigree in that + the money, i think the decision comes down to Tuck vs. Yale. I think the flexibility and opportunities you'll get from a Tuck degree will surpass the specialization and education focus of the Yale one. You said it yourself, you may also consider marketing. Northwestern would then be an option, but in that case I would choose Tuck over Kellogg.

Yale has a very strong general management curriculum, and the idea that its program is limited by specialization is patently untrue. The focus of the program isn't education or non-profit, however the opportunities for a deep dive in education, finance, consulting, etc. totally exist. I can't say if they're better or worse than Tuck's, but I would say they've certainly met and in some places exceeded my expectations.

hey machichi, didn't mean to knock the program at all! The impression I had was that Yale was geared more towards non-profits. I know it places in IB, consulting, and other fields but I'm in DC and the mba circuit around here equates Yale with non-profits. As a current student, you're in the best position to judge employment prospects/placement so I defer to you. But I think Tuck has a distinct reputation when it comes to general management.

I was in a similar situation deciding between Tuck and Yale. I think I'm heading into consulting, but I'm not completely sure at this point. I really liked both schools so fit was basically a wash between the two, but with a slight edge to Yale. In the end I felt like Tuck had better placement in consulting and a stronger reputation overall, so that even if I did decide to go into a different industry it would probably be easier coming from there. Difficult decision though, for sure.

Wow, just wow. Congratulations!

I think that would be extremely difficult to turndown unless Kellogg or Yale matched it.

No, I didn't initiate anything. I just got a call at work, casually picked up, and then sounded like an idiot because I was so caught off guard. I think I must have said "amazing" and "thank you" at least a billion times.

Haha, still undecided. I really liked Yale and Kellogg when I visited, so I'm going to attend Yale's Welcome Weekend to think through my options some more.

I've finally made my decision. Of the three schools, I have chosen Tuck. It wasn't an easy decision, but it's one I'm happy with. Thanks for all of the feedback.
