Probability of total not more than 3 = Probability of getting sum 2 or 3

Cases for sum 2 = (1,1) = 1
Cases for sum 3 = (1,2) (2,1) = 2

Total possible outcomes = 6*6 = 36

Probability = 3/36 = 1/12

Answer: Option B

Lets start listing down the cases where total is not more than 3
(1,1), (1,2), (2,1)

=>  P(Total not more than 3)  =  \frac{3}{36}  =  \frac{1}{12}

So,  Answer will be B
