Female/Indian/24
Work Experience: 3 years of experience having worked with an NGO for the past two years and a couple of other organizations in the Development Sector
Education: Master's in Development Economics & Policy from Top 5 Development Institute and Bachelor's in Economics from India. 2.9 GPA from Undergrad, 2.2 classification from the Master's degree.
Goal of MBA: For a long time now I've been taking on a lot more responsibility at work where I am actively managing multiple people and areas at one time and I feel I am ready for a management position but I don't necessarily have all the skills I need. Furthermore, social entrepreneurship has been on my radar for some time having met and interacted with many representatives of social enterprises. I want to learn more about social entrepreneurship and possibly set up my own social enterprise a few years post the course and having gained work experience in a few social enterprises.
GMAT: This is the massive challenge for me. I am just not capable of ever hitting a 700. I've a re-test scheduled for this week after my poor performance of 490 the last time I gave it.
Target schools: HEC, ESADE, WHU Otto Bensheim, Munich Business School, IMD Lausanne, ESMT Berlin, Cologne Business School, Maastricht School of Management and (I'm open to other options you could recommend as well!)
I just want some guidance on what I can do to make my profile stand out a bit more.
Thank you!
