Why MBAI want to change careers to management consulting. I realize I have quite a lot going against me in this case especially if I want to get into MBB (i.e., age is above median, low undergrad GPA), so please feel free to comment on this as well.
Target schools (I am also looking at W/E MBAs because of the opportunity cost). I live in Toronto.
Rotman (Canada), Ivey (Canada), Kellogg (I know it’s a stretch), Dartmouth, Duke, Darden, Michigan
Hello
tnt007tarunI can see since you are living in Toronto, you were perfectly able to pick two best Canadian MBA programs

Your GMAT score is awesome.
Usually 730 on average is enough for top schools and that is for full MBA, for executive/weekend programs it could be only lower.
You should stop thinking from over represented ethnicity point of view, you are human being and you cannot change your background.
That is not an setback and you certainly scored well, to rule that out, if ever that was a potential weakness.
Your working experience is simply great and should your selling point.
I could say the same for extra curricular activities, which compared with your overall tone toward your chances, tells me you are modest, which is laudable.
I would not worry that much about your undergrad lower GPA since it was followed with an increase at grad GPA, which is exactly the trajectory that admission committee wants to see, you grow older you become more mature more motivated, you advance.
Grad GPA is where they will look first as most recent degree and that will count the most.
I can see you scored 800 on GRE quant, that is old scale, I assume it was more than 5 years ago, probably when you applied to grad school, so it will not count if it was > 5 years ago...still I would mention it in essay, you probably still have some kind of proof....pdf print...if that was available long time ago.
800 on GRE Quant section correspond to 170 on new scale.
Age is also not an concern, especially if we are talking about executive/evening/weekend MBA programs.
I would not say Kellogg is a stretch....I can see you picked schools from East Coast and relatively close to home (Toronto), except Duke.
I would say you have fair chance at schools on your list
Good Luck
