Hello Everyone,
I am a 31-year-old Indian Male working in Singapore in Research and Development domain for clean energy and EV domain. I have a total of 7.5 years of work experience including 4 years of manufacturing in India and 3.5 years of R & D in Singapore. I am looking forward to a full-time MBA in upcoming sessions.
R & D -- Energy Research Institute ntu -- 3.5 Years
Academics -- Bachelors of Technology from SRM University India in EEE. Scored (8.24/10).
Master of Science from NTU. Scored (3.25/5).
Post-MBA domain -- Either Moving in clean energy consulting or business development unit in MBB or Moving in FAANG.
My target school are as follows:-
Singapore -- *INSEAD / NUS
* -- On the INSEAD website, it is mention that recommended score for INSEAD is 6/8 in IR. However, I had got 4/8 and also in AWA as 4/6. My question is do I have a red flag on my application due to this. (Kindly, folks guide me into this matter)(Very much having anxiety on this point).
UK -- LBS / Judge / Said
(Kindly, folks suggest which one would be much better for me according to my profile.)
USA -- Sloan School of Managment / Ross Business School / UCLA / CMU / Chicago Booth / Wharton / Tepper / Stanford / Harvard / CBS.
India -- ISB.
Also, give comments for chances of getting scholarships.
Would be much appreciated for getting guidance on the same.

- The academic arc looks good given SRM has a decent pedigree and so does NTU. The master's GPA looks a bit on the modest side though. The GMAT will make up for any lost ground. While it's still unclear as there isn't really an official stand from any school on it yet, we've not seen IR make a difference especially when your main score is off the charts. I won't bother too much about this frankly.
- The professional profile is quite eclectic. Shall I assume mfg was prior to NTU? It's tough to make out much with the scanty details you've shared - the actual nature of work, any accomplishments or impact delivered, and more. It can be tough to transition from a pure R&D role at a university - so think about how you'll convince the adcoms (and future recruiters) on this. What kind of profiles within FAANG - from what you've mentioned, it doesn't look like a fit per se.
- Top schools value ECs. Anything on this front?
- For reasons mentioned here, we don't speculate on school selection or chances. That being said, do bear in mind that MBA after 30 can be tricky. Given this aspect, European programs might be slightly better and you may also want to check out some one year options in the US. In India, also consider the 3 IIM one year programs apart from ISB

Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Your undergrad GPA is good, and you have a solid GMAT score, so your academic part is pretty sorted. You may want to read an article on mba over 30, it will give you some insight on how to improve your odds if you are 30+ and instill the right confidence in you:)
A score of 770 is a massive score and it will enhance your chances of admission to any business school. Your IR score is not likely to endanger your application if the rest of your application is in line. B-schools don't look at your AWA and IR scores individually but rather as part of your overall GMAT score. And your 770 should be able to make up for it. However, in interviews, you might have to justify your low score. The next thing you can do is connect to your target schools and ask how they interpret IR scores. You can also question them directly if your low IR score, considering your high GMAT score, raises a red flag and what you can do about it.
You did not share about your work experience in detail, such as roles and responsibilities, impact, leadership, and so on. I would like to know more about your work experience as it would help assess your chances and suggest the b-schools for you. However, according to your post-mba goals UCLA, Ross and Insead would be the great pick.
