Greetings EgmatQuantExpert

First, from my heart, thanks so much for you efforts.

Second, I wanted to clarify about the solution of case 2/ example 2:

at the end of the solution, it says: "The profit for consumer in year 2 = 120 – 73.2 = 46.8"

I am not sure from where 73.2 come from.
please help.

(note: when trying to solve it, I found the final answer 43.2)

Hi Mahmoudfawzy83,

Thanks for letting us know.

There is a typo there, it must be 120 - 76.8 = 43.2. We have corrected it now.

Sir/Ma'am , How did we get the below mentioned from ex- 1

As the discount percentage is 16.67% of the original retail price,
• The amount of discount = 1/6 of original retail price
• Or, the amount of discount = 1/6 * x = x6

Hi

The discount of 16.67% means 16.67 on an amount of 100.
So, on an original amount of x, the discount is x*\(\frac{16.67}{100}\)

Now, 16.6666*6 =100 or 16.67*6~100

Thus, \(x*\frac{16.67}{100}=x*\frac{1}{6}\)
