Let: m = age of mother, f = age of father and d = age of daughter.
(1) \(\frac{(m + f)}{2}\) = 38 ..... m + f = 76
(2) \(\frac{(m + f + d)}{3}\) = 28 ..... m + f + d = 84
- Subtracting: (2) - (1):
(2) m + f + d = 84
(1) -m - f = -76
d = 8
Option C
