1) Raw score is calculated by formula 9*Q + 7*V, where Q is Quant score and V is Verbal score
2) Raw score is rounded to the nearest multiple of 10 to obtain final score in CMAT
Is CMAT final score of Brian > 700?
1) Brian got Quant score of 50
2) Brian's score in Verbal is 20% more than 2/3 of Quant score

Should be C.
From the 1st statement, we get that Q=50. But we have no information about V and hence can't find out the raw score. Thus, insufficient.
From the 2nd statement, we are given than V=(1/5)(2/3)Q
However, we have no information about neither if their actual values. Thus, insufficient to find the raw score.
Combining 1 and 2, we can find the raw score. Hence, C

I think this is a small miscalculation in highlighted part. The calculation should be as follows
V = (1/5)(2/3)Q + (2/3)Q
