Hi everyone,
I've been fortunate enough to have been accepted to two of my top schools! However I can't decide which I would rather go to and would love any guidance.
About me:
Background: 27 year old American female with most of my friends and family in the northeast.
Career to date: Five years working in tech startups
Career after MBA: I want to stay in the tech space in a general management career, perhaps in e-commerce or a consumer facing tech company (Spotify, Lyft, maybe Amazon , etc).
I am however very open to exploring new industries (marketing, maybe consulting ) and would like to go to a school that supports career exploration.
Thoughts on Tuck: I love the close knit culture. I am not turned off by how remote it is from a personal standpoint- but will the location limit recruiting opportunities?
Thoughts on SOM: I have no problem with New Haven and like that it is less remote than Hanover. However, is the student body as close knit as Tucks? And is it as strong for tech and/or general management? Seems like it's not as highly ranked as Tuck overall.
I'm truly torn. Any insight at all is appreciated!
