Dear All,

I recently gave my third attempt of GMAT and scored 700 (Q-50, V-34, IR-8, AWA-5 ). As I was scoring around 730 in the official practice tests, I am planning to retake GMAT by mid-November to reach my target score of 730+.
Need your suggestions in deciding what material to use and how to best utilize the next two months for a higher score.

Quant:

I have been above average in Quant. Actual GMAT scores - 50/49/50. On my second attempt I didn't devote sufficient time to Quant and paid for it with a 49. For third attempt I did sufficient practice and managed to score 50.

Material used:

Official Guide 2016
Officail Question Pack
Referred GMAT club handbook for theory of weaker sections.
Solved around 12 GMAT Club practice test between my 2nd & 3rd attempt
Had solved 5 Veritas Quant sectional tests before my 2nd attempt and scored 51 in most of them.

For my next attempt, I am targeting a score of 51. I need to make sure that I don't slip below 50 in any case. Kindly suggest what steps I should take.

Biggest weakness - Inequalities, Must be/could be true and Absolute Function .[/b]
Efficiency becomes low on 700 level questions in PnC and algebra.

As most of my preparation time was devoted towards Verbal, I have never been able to take corrective actions to improve my weaknesses in Quant. How and what should I do to iron out these gaps? Somehow, even going through theory of GMAT Club math book has not helped. Almost in all questions of weak areas, I am unsure of how to solve.

Any help will be really appreciated.

That said, 50 to 51 won't make much difference. Invest most of your time in Verbal. A more balanced score will be viewed more positively.

Hi Karishma,

Can you please suggest how I can improve my timing in Verbal. Concept wise I am okay. But my timing goes for a toss in actual exam. I still have more than 1.5 months for my exam. Thanks!
