Statement  1:  t^{(-2)} < 1 => t^2>1 . so we will not get any specific value of  t  from this equation.  Insufficient

Statement 2 :  t^{(-3)} = \frac{1}{27} , take the cube root ie. raise both sides to  \frac{1}{3}  rd power

t^{(-1)} = \frac{1}{3} .  Sufficient
