A general question- my program starts in first week of August. I have got an interview date (earlier) as 10th july. Would you guys recommend to go for expedited appointment?

Don’t think much. They mostly look for school, offer, profile & fitment.

Expedited Visa shows your ‘Sense of Urgency’ in a way. Which in turn strengthens your candidacy!

Reporting bias imo

People who make it in don't report their success stories

We only hear about rejections as people are looking for answers/cope etc

But again the rational should be to expedite the process always, despite the perceived risk

Otherwise you are anyway dropping another year regardless
