Another question... I believe current students and alumni of Wharton can help me with this.
Are the students at Wharton competitive or collaborative?

Thanks.

All the Wharton students I've met are quite collaborative. A really good example of this, is that the student body has traditionally voted for grade non disclosure.

Quick question--will self reporting scores slow down application review? Did people arrange for official scores to be sent or can this wait until interview/admit?

Wharton was one of the schools I chose to send my official report so I'm good to go on that front. The school asks you to self report your GMAT, it won't slow down your application at all. Once you are admitted/waitlisted, you will need to send them an official copy.

All the best.

The Awards section seems to be repeated in the application. Its once in the General Info section, and then again in the Education section. So if one has an academic award, then do they repeat it on both the places on the application? Please suggest. :?

Really dumb question here...does anyone know if you need to specify the round you are applying to in Wharton's online system? I started an application a few weeks ago but I've since decided it would be best to submit in round 2. Do I need to do anything in the system, or will it just roll over automatically when I don't submit by the round 1 deadline?

I did that last year (started app in R1, submitted in R2). What round you're in is based on submission not when you start the app. You'll be counted in R2 if you submit after the R1 deadline. There's nothing to do on your part.

Where did you see something that implies that? All I see are places to upload Undergrad/Grad transcripts.

You read that wrong. Wharton does not request high school transcripts.

Do you think 527 words for one of the 500 word essays is too much or can we brush those under the rug?

I think +/- 5% should be good.

Just submitted, good luck to all of us!

Actually I did not get any confirmation about my submission, is that the way it is at Wharton?
Other schools seem to send an acknowledgment though.

Any one else with the same experience?

Just submitted as well! Let the waiting game begin! I didn't receive a confirmation either, so they probably just don't send them. Good luck all!
